Yes, pushing your luck. They do go well with the car though. Moggy could make them looked 'aged' - he's brilliant at that sort of thing, well it is his profession after all.

It seems that many modern car 'racers' now routinely remove their front numberplate completely and many others, including euro-boxes have 'smoked' plates. I wonder why? I really don't think that the Police are likely to be remotely interested in black and silver plates on cars as rare as the 260Z. There are only a handful original UK registered vehicles remaining on the road and would be so easily traced should they exceed the speed limit by one or two mph. Agree that time is better spent worrying about the more important things in life.

Exactly my thoughts but I suppose the font is the most important thing for the camera though.

Won't hurt to keep a pair of legal plates in the boot and claim you forgot to swap over your show plates after the last show.

I’m colour blind so they all look great to me I like my red with black lettering but mr police man made me remove them going to Santa pod a few years back or face £100 fine

You are correct Jon but I think in California you can put these black and yellow plates on anything now.
