A 280ZX 2 seater at auction

what was the 510 called here?
510 is misdescribed as a PA510..

Clearly a Euro car being LHD. I am intrigued as to whether its actually a "SSS", as the RHD SSS versions came with a different dash cluster with 6 pod gauges.
What is a PA510 Preet?

So often the descriptions that go with auction cars are inaccurate to the point of misleading for financial gain.

510 is chassis code. I believe they were sold as Datsun 1300, Datsun 1400 and Datsun 1600 here in UK.

In other markets, where only the 1600cc variant was offered, they were sold as Datsun 1600. Certainly the case in Australia and Africa.

There is no PA510 variant. :D
PL510 is correct, the L reflecting its a left hooker.

FWIW, I believe its being offered at very good value.

That's a 'come and get me' estimate I reckon.

Nice 280zx. Will be interesting to see what it goes for, but I'm delighted to see that estimate.

280ZX looks like an '81 to me with a RHside exiting exhaust pipe.

Be better on stock wheels 'cos those 260Z jobs look awful.

"Well known by the UK 'Z Club"....and so ? By whom ?

Looks like an ok car with later 260z wheels. Early 260z's carried the same pressed steel/hub cap assemblies as the 240z but were very commonly swapped out pre-delivery for wolfrace slots.

Never seen this car on here before, so also wondered if anyone here had?
