280z Air Flow Meter Problems (Flap gets stuck)

Hi all,
I got my 280z back up and running with a replacement pump and filter, however, I took it on a loop around the estate and it cut out when I blipped the accelerator and then released it.

The flap on the AFM had got stuck 60% open, so I tapped it with a hammer which released it.

I then took the black panel off the AFM unit and turned it to see where the resistance once. Video below:

The engine starts and idles great with fuel pressure sitting in the 30's. So it's just the AFM flap getting stuck open when I press the accelerator suddenly, this then cuts the engine when I release the accelerator (I assume because it knocks the air to fuel ratio off?). I have had the AFM out and given it a good clean, but the flap is still getting caught.

Any suggestions?
