Personally I love the look - change nothing, burn around the next JapFest day and REALLY **** the flash, tuning brigade off !
I dissagree with the look it's too 'trendy'. It looks like you have gone out of your way to get the look. The stance is fine though.
Give it some paint (not an expensive job) and use it. As it gains battle scars leave it alone - it'll only get more.

I disagree - if you're going to get it painted - get a good job (doesn't have to be expensive) email me for details.

I appreciate all the comments chaps.
After spending all that dough its nice to know it works for some/most as I start to doubt where I'm going.
Some of the panels do look contrived but thats just how it worked out, the left hand side is probably not its best and the bonnet is odd.
I will probably get it painted one day but it will have to be a goodun......no expense spared like with my other cars I only ever want to do a job once.
I love the car but need to get brakes sorted and electrical issues and its a bit too harsh on the ride but its a good smoker and gets plenty of attention....some odd looks at the kids posh school I can tell you

Ah ha, you are not fooling me! You are not intending to keep it long in this state, you only have to look at the work you have done in the engine bay and underneath to know that you intend to have a good quality re-spray in Silver. As for what you have invested in it, I bet it is nowhere near what you have put in to the Mk I E.type. The truth is, you are just like my dad, who does it just for the enjoyment of it regardless of what money he wastes.

Problem is a paint Job is not all it'll need. New paint means new chrome, rubbers glass etc etc etc.....then there's the interior....and so it goes on.
E Type is nuts....massive massive detail.
68 Charger took 3 years....lovely inside out upside down but not critical detail like the E.
Z is staying just so I reckon but solid shell and underside/engine bay done means that one day when I've had enough you never know......would look lovely but I am so very bored of polishing
