Hello all having i little problem with my brakes . all working great put every now and then the dash brake light comes on with a drop in pedal pressure one pump of the pedal are all back to normal could this be a doggy proportional valve as i think its the original one or so air in the system...

dont know Mike none of it worked , put the old master cylinder on still the same problem and res as gone down so there may still be air with in the system . i think the problem with the hilux MC is it thinks its got disc brake all round but i still have drum rears so may have to remove the check...

Hi all not posted for a long time so this is a question about a 280z upgrade i have tried to do using a toyota hilax master cylinder and booster . all plummed in well but no front brake at all could this be the proportional valve .is the anyone with a similar set up any help please . Chris

Thanks Sean was looking on French ebay for a rack so any more info is great if you get chance the gent on you tube is called Mike Hunt yes realy .He does some great mod iam doing the brake booster up grade with a Toyota hi lux . many thanks Chris

looking to use mazda mx5 power steering rack or may be a electric nova rack . the mazda looks good bloke on youtube done it only prob is i have to get a LHD rack and a few other bits

Hi all z fans not posted for a long time got the old rust bucket out and my left rear brake cylinder was jammed solid after prizing the brake cover off . so can anybody help me with a new cylinder or point me in the direction of shop or a nice new one in the back of the garage .many thanks chris

my 280z has all these problems every it laid up ,like everyone says the key area to look at is the temp send the thermotine and the conection to the cold starter clean them up .also i have a billet fuel fail with a aftermarket FPR and it should run about 38 to 42 psi good luck .

dont have a clear line .get the paint shop to blend it up .

ho yes but you do have to sqint a lot and be wasted

look like a solid US car the factory underseal will be toast but dont worry good chance the metal is solid . try to get some photo of the inside floor pan and inner wings .chris

safety cut off is the flap in the AFM so hold open and you can hear the fuel pump running . if so only half the relay may not work but take a good look at the cold starter and thremo stat if the not connected right it wont go test it by downloading the 280z fuel injection bible of google . lots...

thats your bosch fuel pump ignition relay you can get then off ebay in the UK . you have to think out of the box for some parts or you will we spending lost of cash some of the ones on ebay have a plastic cover but the pins are the same . i have my original on the mount but run a plastic one...
