Anything from 1964 - 1984....apparently.

Sean, do you always have to come across as such a dick..!

I know you're not, but you know little about what I do and don't like. I'm not sure if it's because I mentioned to Chris that I like the look of Fairlady roadsters or not, or purely because I post a link to a car for sale. However that doesn't mean I'm buying it...you regularly post links of interest, but does that mean you are actively looking to buy them?

I come back here regularly because I love the S30 series and more than likely will have another one this year, but bloody hell its hard work sometimes...

Frankly (no offence to Jason here) I think you've had a hard week and a bad Friday - I had no idea you'd spoken with Chris about a Fairlady and you can check with him mate so cap your crass outbursts and spend your energy to reduce your parameters...you love S30s and then give a strong impression of leaning towards a ZX and why not ?

If you've got no sense of humour left on a Friday night then better you say nothing.

My comment was tongue in cheek (if you know a better smiley, you can point it out please) so chill out and have a nice weekend.

How about a nice S30 2+2 btw ?

See that's quite funny.

I've had a hard week yes, but that's nothing to do with my comment, where in my OP is there any leaning of any sort. The fact it's a write off, even if I was that way inclined would perhaps put me off, unlike the auction house ask.

Better smileys than "unsure" well any of them with a smile might have helped.

I'll leave it there I think.

Well, you post this car up and then reply
I'm always looking Rob :)

1+1 = 3:D

I think it's a great car but if you've got money to burn :

Sentiment better than the song JK :D

Sean knows little if anything of Fairlady and has been wrongly maligned (on this occasion at least) Just to show this is not where got 1964 from, said Fairlady is 1967 and a half ( gotta love the Americans lol ) best year apparently ;) retaining purity of original design with improvements since first introduced and last of 1600s.

You decided to remain brand loyal now ? Alfa not on shopping list ?

I have got this 105 series step nose 1965 Sprint GT which is in the queue for restoration this year. Will be GTA type look. Sold the last GT Junior before Christmas. My S30s have usually sold very quickly due to being great cars at very sensible prices ( where's that blowing own trumpet emoji :D ).

Aiming to substantially reduce number of cars I have around this year to have more time to enjoy them more as an enthusiast. Pleasure first, business second not the other way around. Still have the barns in Cheshire and quite a few Datsuns around, a Fairlady Roadster, three or four 240Z, a 280Z (provisionally sold), a nice 280ZX etc but very low key for the moment and too wet and cold to be bothered much about selling.

JK - Alfa 2600 not the one you want to go for, they are stylish coupes but more of a touring GT/saloon with 2 doors than a sports car. Not too popular and struggle to make decent money so £ 13k very strong money for a project (even if it was once owned by the best dressed man in Paris ) Has to be a 105 coupe every time, plenty of rhd cars from South Africa around but you have to choose very carefully as more bad ones than good ones around.

JK- Stick with Nissan I say. Have a look at the non mainstream Nissan's\ Datsuns , but then I would say that :p

A 2 door 510 ? With hot L20B or even a SR20 would be a very rewarding car to drive and easy maintenance. They were extremely successful on the track scene in US ( against the 105 Alfa's I hasten to add:smash:). Sadly they don't seem to a huge following in Euroland. But huge in Aus, NZ, US and the homeland.

This is on the basis you are looking for a fast road type of car:driving:
