Thanks Paul , I have had a dreadful night worrying about this vexing problem.
So send me some Tramadol.. if I dont need them tonite I can always sell them down the pub at the weekend.
Im not sure about the world of oysters

Black it is then.

From memory there was a general change in bumper type of many then current car types in favour of black rubber. Something to do with American law! The MG bumper spec I think changed to black at the beginning of '75. That set a trend to co-ordination of earlier 'chrome' components and you will see many post '75 car with 'black' rather than satin chrome wiper assemblies.

As far as I know early UK 260's generally have satin chrome wiper assemblies. Post 75 tend to be black.

So one enterprising member has already asked me about buying a pair of arms.
He wanted them satin metal finish..... so it seemed rude not to oblige.
