I've done everything else so any pointers? What sealent do I need and what order do I do things in?


The car has been painted and is looking good! Just putting it back together and then there should be some pics to post!

Thats cheating! Ive done all the welding and sprayed the car I'm sure I can fit a screen!

Autoglass.

They just did mine, spot on. not as easy as you might think. used a balck rubberoid type sealant. sprayed loads of soapy water around the rubber first, so that the mastic gun nozzle slid along the rubber nicely, and didnt keep popping out. Still say get it done 4 u though.

I've always been told (mainly by my Dad, who was a mechanic for about 12 years) to get windscreens fitted for you... its such a pain in the arse to do and its much better to get a pro to do it for you...

Its up to you though :)
 
Wes...I'd give you a hand if I could but I cant so I wont!.....(I'd be there all week trying to do something like that...)

I'm good Si, I'll have to pop over some time soon. Did you have some fibreglass headlight cowels for sale?

I might have to have a mooch through your spares as I need a few odds and sods.

plop over mate, I sold them loverly cowels a while ago though........

...am going to see a 2+2 Thurs, God know why cos I havent sold my 2 seater yet!...but it looks good and well kept....just hope I can borrow the money somewhere IF i like it!...
