What type of wheels do you think look the best on the early zed cars Wolfrace, Minilites etc.as im looking to replace my Wolffies with some better looking ones have you any suggestions?
The deeper the dish the better, thanks

That depends on whether or not you are buying new or second hand.
I like Wolfrace, I think they really suit the car. But it is nice to see a Zed with something else. The market is limited for alternative looking second hand wheels, it also depends on what size you are after. There's a nice set of 15"x7" Minilites on my "for sale" page.
Personally I went for new in 16"x7". I chose Revolution RFX 5 spokes because they have a retro feel about them (try Demon Tweeks), and they suited my budget. I think a set of 4 with tyres cost around £800.
If i could afford it, I'd probably go 17's next time (more tyre choice) and I hear Image wheels are helpful folk. .....but they aint cheap. They do some nice styles and they'll alter the offset to your requirements. That way you get the deep dish you are after.
A lot of people poo-poo big wheels on older cars, but I had to go larger because of my pending big brake conversion. You just can't get good stoppers with a vented disc under 14's.
Also, my 16's dramatically changed the way the car felt. Turn-in was much much sharper and the whole car felt more poised under hard cornering. Less squidge from the lower profile tyre you see.
There is a down side of course, you do get to feel more lumps and bumps, but my suspension isn't exactly what you'd call soft.  <img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Thanks for the advice, i think I'm going to go for a 7 or 8 by 15 inch size wheel as I can get tyres very cheap in good sizes, but it has to have a really good off set so I can polish up the alloy outer rim. and also fit larger brakes.
I do agree though that wolfies look good when polished right up like chrome.
