Viscous Fan Clutch?

Is it possible to have a Viscous fan on a 280zx that uses a fan clutch, like the Z32 does? If not, has anyone made one fit from something like a Z32? Anyone have any experience with electric fans on the 280zx?

I could be wrong, but having had a quick look at it earlier, it looks like it's just an always on fan by default?
 
Had another look and it does appear to be on a viscous clutch, as I can turn the fan when the engine is off, but it's very stiff. Any chance these are cheap new? lol
 
You can take them apart and recondition them, I used some lucas oil stabilizer in mine, it seems about the right viscosity (as in, ridiculously gloopy)
 
It is a viscous clutch similar to Z32. No - they are not cheap...
Secondhand - usually tired...
 
Do you have a price for a new one Mike? Just in case the repair above doesn't work? I'm also looking to really pretty up the engine bay for next year, so if I can't get the current one looking good, I'll need a new one anyway, lol.
