Transmission plate for VH is here (photo heavy)

JD and I took a trip over to John Sharp Engineering in Leicester yesterday to pick up my engine and our transmission plates. He'd made a great job of them, very nice quality work and he's a great bloke as well so I'd highly recommend him......and whilst it was out it would've been criminal not to put it all together, ostensibly to check the orientation...but really just as much for the kick of seeing how it looked! :D

It was the boost we needed after having waited so long for various parts to arrive/be made up. Really satisfying to see the builds start to come together. Here's a few photo's so you can see for yourselves (including my lightened flywheel, plus a couple of one of the more "interesting" bits of kit John has stashed away in his workshop!:D). I'm sure JD will be along to put a word in about it as well soon!

With a bit of luck, should have the engine fitted in the next few days.
Can't get it all done though as the crank pulleys got lost in the post going back to pace from the anodisers :mad: another 3 weeks now!!!!!
