Went along to the Essex meeting today (Sun 6th), with my 240 on her maiden voyage, and i'm very pleased I did, In the brief time i had available to be there, I met a few of the people with whom until today, I had only spoken via my pc screen. Sorry I didnt get speak to many others, had to get away moan at my team. It was nice to see some interesting cars too, along with the beeb, filming Tony and his car for the new tv series, Well done Tony, and I hope you get that NOS system fitted up soon to your Z. (BIG VROOOOOOOOM).

Good to see your 240Z there Don - sorry we were a bit cramped due to our usual area being given over to Mother's Day tables - at least their balloons matched your paint!
 
Yes, thanks Mike, Nice of you to arrange the balloon display.

I was impressed by the amount of people attending, especially for a bleak March day. I will do my best to attend next time, and thereafter. Most enjoyable.
Hopefully next time I wont have to leave early.

If anyone else is thinking of coming along, especially from Kent or surrounding counties/areas, MAKE THE EFORT, It is a very low key lunchtime chat, friendly and welcoming. One guy (John) comes all the way from Ramsgate in his 280.

Whilst writing, Mike, If you want to send me a roll form, I will gladly sign up for membership, or just let me know how.
