Seats for the 260z

I'm looking to replace the seats on my late 260Z with modern  bucket ones (to save wear'n'tear).

Has anyone done this or do you know which type will fit?

I put a pair of old Huntmaster buckets in mine (tatty, but snug) and I reckon that with a bit of engineering then almost anything will fit so long as it isn't too wide. Remember that some buckets are "side fixing" though and I think these might be more difficult - look out for the ones that fix underneath.

Good luck & let us know how you get on. I want to put smarter seats in my 260Z someday too.

Thanks for the reply.

I eventually tracked down a real cheap pair of Corbeau Clubman (incl sub frame) that I've been informed can be modified to fit without too much trouble (not that i'm doing the work - Geoff @ Autoactive is helping out)
