Hi All.
I have a new, never fitted back box and pipe for a Scorpion Exhaust. I
had planned on buying the remaining system (Front Box and Pipe) and fitting
it to my 240z, However I contacted Scorpion Exhausts only to be told that
they no longer produce exhausts/parts for the 240z and couldn't help.
Anyone any suggestions for a good Stainless Steel Exhaust Manufacturer for
the 240Z, or someone who could manufacture a suitable Front Box and Pipe to
match the Scorpion Back Box / Pipe that I already have?
Do I need to consider any new legal requirements/emission Tests that have
come in since 1973 (I'm guessing I don't need to have a CAT fitted??). I
don't know if the Scorpion Exhausts were actually any good from the 70's,
or were maybe just a boy racer bolt on? but it just seems a waste not to
utilise it in some way.
I'm not needing anything built for racing/rallying, just something that's
well made, sounds good (without being annoying to others) and will be a
suitable match my standard 240 motor & carbs. I do have a nice new manifold
to tie it to, I think I bought it from MSA but it's been that long I can't
remember.
As always I'd appreciate any comments/advice.
