Receive Email Notification

Dear Russ,

Receive Email Notification of replies to topics, pictures, etc? About a year ago it worked perfect but for a long time I'm not receiving these.
Am I the only one who is NOT receiving these??? Did not change anything for a long time, normally I got notification of replies so what's happening.....?

This has been a problem for me since day one and its really hit and miss.

To be honest I don't know where to start on fault finding this, I'll give it some thought later.

I hope to move us to version 3 of this forum in a few months and maybe that'll cure it. But that won't be any time soon

I just rely on checking the forum for latest posts, if there is a thread you're particularly interested in then you can click Subscribe to this thread, which sometimes work.

Sorry can't be of any more help.

Is it possibly to do with using the 'post reply' button and going to the full on reply page as opposed to using the quick reply text field at the bottom? I've been noticing this issue as well and I'm suspecting something along these lines.

Ahhh you might very well be right! Hadn't spotted that. The quick reply at the bottom is a hack I integrated and so probably misses the whole subscribe part.

Good thinking batman, I'll look into it tonight if I get chance.
