Radiator Decal info

No idea on the rad decal but wouldn't mind knowing where you had it recored/refurbished and a ballpark cost for the work should you have two mins ... ta.

I had it re-cored with a triple core at http://www.cumbriaradiators.co.uk/
From memory I paid somewhere in the region of £200-£250. It was totally rebuilt and came back looking like new. A couple of minor issues that were down to me not being specific about my requirements, it came back matt black and I should have requested silk black and they fitted a new black drain plug instead of a white one, again my fault for not correctly specifying my requirements. I've purchased a white one and a silk radiator paint to respray it. Some pics attached, hope they're useful. Not sure about postage as they are local to me in Cumbria

Thanks for the info Paul - it looks superb. I've got an ali one that was in the car when I got it fancy a return to original spec. Just gotta find one that no-one wants!

Sorry can't help you on your question...mine is a 73 and had no sticker but can't say it never came off at some point.
Is your refurbished radiator now slighter thicker due to the triple core?
I think I chucked my original radiator when I bought an ally one...would have this on my list if I still had it.

The triple core fits inside the existing case so there is no difference in size, but an improvement in cooling efficiency.
Ped, yeah I've seen this available from various sources, I guess fit it and then if I change my mind just peel it off, worst case a lick of paint from a spray can.
