Best of luck with your restoration mate. If you need any bits I'm currently breaking a 1982 red 280zx with red interior.

Breaking a 280ZX

It seems criminal to me, breaking up a 'Z' but I suppose if people didn't I'd be struggling to restore.

I've sent you a PM Nigel, give me or my Bro a call and we'll see what we can do.

Terry

Yep, and I'm breaking a 1980 car with beige interior. It's got good headlight cowls, perfect radiator and a nice blue top tint on the front screen (if i can get it out without breaking it).

Let me know what you've got available zedhead and I'll ask Bro what he needs. what colour and condition is the carpet

Terry

At the moment I have a whole car minus the gearbox. I am assuming the carpet is beige too, but it is so full of rubbish I can't tell you what condition it's in.

I mentioned the headlight cowls as being good, but so is the tailgate....very good in fact. Think the rest of the car panel wise is poor, maybe the doors are useable.

Other bits will be either mechanical or electrical.

I don't usually get involved with 280's, this one just happened to be on my doorstep, so Jon & I bought it for the distributor and brake master cylinder. Underneath is well and truely rotten, shame to see another one go.

Bits 'n' pieces

Thanks Zedhead,

Either me or my brother will be in touch. (probably him as I wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about) Can you pm me and him (Muttley) your mobi No.

Terry

Who, me or Nigel ?

Is your car early or late ? I would imagine the loom connectors are different, but I'm only saying that from my knowledge of 240's & 260's.

My 280ZX is a 1980 model with an analogue clock (that's stopped) So if any one can assist with a replacement I'd be grateful.
