Does any one know of any north west z meetings? I have a Z31, if there are none locally does anyone fancy helpin me sort out a regular meet? I'm on the wirral so a meeting around chester would allow access from Liverpool, cheshire and north wales.

Keith & Deborah Harrison are listed in the Z Club mag as still running the long-standing Cheshire PlainZ Local Group. Let them know that a meeting is growing and revive the Group! 01625 268779 or kkharrison@talk21.com.

There is in fact already a regular Cheshire Plainz meeting - its held on the third Thursday of every month at the Stamford Arms on the A56 Lymm Road at Little Bollington, Cheshire.

Its about a mile down the A56 from the roundabout at the end of the A556/M56 junction 7. There's usually a crew of NW Zedders to be found in the front room there, rain or shine. Of course, "shine" is more likely to bring out the old Zeds (instead of everyone's 'boring' cars!). During the summer months we've had some good turnouts, with plenty of 240/260s and various later ZX types.

Anyway, the more the merrier! :)

Can you send these details to Steve Kiddell ASAP so they can go into the Z Club calender of events as I'm pretty sure that your meeting is not listed.

I've just emailed Steve Kiddell to give him the details...

I forgot to mention before that the next meet is in fact this week. People usually start to materialise from about 8 onwards. Familiar faces include our illustrious membership secretary Steve Kemp - he can put his official hat on to sell the club to any newbies that come along!! :)

There you go!

Any people on the site in the area who aren't club members why not pop along, meet some other club members and see what some of it's about.

Alas, I can't make thursdays.
Anyway, are there any north west 'track days' or something similar? I've always wanted to try it :)

Well i guess that answers my question. i'll start gettin more involved in the club hopefully and i'd like to start a regular meeting for the summer and maybe sort a little JAE convoy.

Hi,
The Heart Of England Group often have joint meetings with the Cheshire Plainz lot, to increase the numbers at Tatton Park and they come to the Sheffield Show too!
Keith Harrison is a very friendly bloke, who will make you very welcome. He owns the "Cadbury's Chocolate Wrapper" purple coloured Z32 which has been featured in the Magazine!
Cheerz,

Just had to dig this up and add second monday of month Mascrat manor pub @ Junction 21 - M6. Get off the southbound exit and then take 3rd exit off the roundabout at the end of the slip road. Usually find 50 plus cars including 200SX, 300ZX Supras etc. SXOC, JAP Northwest and loads of other clubs represented.

It is indeed on for this Thursday and thankfully the roadworks on the Lymm road are apparently finished so getting to the Stanford Arms doesn't require some long-winded excursion like it has the last couple of months!

People will be rolling up about 8-8.30 ish.
:)
