There was another on ebay with no injection/intake manifold that didn't sell on Sunday for £950. Put the two together and........

..........I was almost tempted for me next RHD conversion project:D :D :D

I must say after seeing yours then knowing a kit is available it prob is the way to go. But then it's also down to cost.
What did you pay for your engine n box? Was it under 2k comp?
 
My engine/box and other bits came to about £3K and then shipping & duty cost another £1K. Yes Ouch!

Of course if you could get the engine in this country like those two items above you could find a box for between £1-£1.5K or put an auto on it for less. If you have the time and the contacts I'm sure there must be wrecked Z28Camaro's/Corvettes in this country too for the right price!

Well I have seen a totalled corvette for £3K here, however, the gearbox is a problem with them because they use a transaxle setup, and yes it did cross my mind to wonder whether it could be installed in the Z but I fortunately talked myself out of that silly idea!

Anyways nout wrong with a good ol rover V8!
