JAE is to be held at the East of England Showground this year. From a practical point of view this change of venue should ensure more room, a secured venue, designated camping areas, better marshalling and separate general car park. From the "show" aspect JAE is offering one of the largest collections of Jap-Car traders, autojumble, speedway track with grandstand and more caterers.
Entry
You will be charged £10 per person per day (Club parking or general parking), free for under 11s. Car must not be left overnight in the public car park. Vehicles not part of a car club or trade exhibitor can park in the public car park.
Show Time
JAE will be having competitions for the best turned out cars. Preliminary judging will take place in the main arena on Saturday. Judges will select cars that will then go forward to Sunday’s finials. There will be three finals with awards going to the best classic, the best Concours and the best modified. We are invited to enter an example of each model. If would like to represent the Z Club and enter your car please contact me for details.
Z Club Stand
After last years experience your Club has booked a car stand that can hold 100 cars. With this and the fact that the organisers have said they will provide more space per car, we should have plenty of room.
Camping
There will be a designated camping area, were you can leave you tent up for the whole weekend. We will be allowed to camp on the car stand and therefore not have to mess around moving cars but tents must be taken down by 8.30 am every morning.

Directions
Travelling south bound
A1 – turn left off the A1 at the signpost stating "Alwalton, Business Park, Showground, Chesterton"
Go through the thatched village of Alwalton. At the T-junction turn left, 50 yards to roundabout turn right onto the Showground. Follow internal signs Z Club Stand.
Travelling north bound
Go past Junction 17. Turn left off the A1 (immediately after the garage) at the signpost stating "Showground, Chesterton, Alwalton, Elton".
At the T junction turn left towards Peterborough, over the flyover, turn right at the roundabout onto Showground. Follow internal signs to Z Club Stand
