hey guys i feel like such a dimwit here and id never thought id ask this question as i know my way around cars. but where the flip are the jack point for a 260z? i cannot find anywhere that seems a good solid place to put the trolley jack in. does anyone have a picture that i can follow?

Craig - the 260Z came as standard with a Scissors-type Jack which locates underneath the sill return - it has a groove to locate it correctly.
If you want to use a Trolley Jack, the best places are under the Engine Crossmember at the front end
(N. B. - not the Radiator Crossmember ), or the Diff at the Rear.
Don't use the Chassis legs - they will deform as they aren't designed to take the weight of the car.

Hey Craig, don't feel too bad, RAC man wanted to know where the jack point on my sons MGB was - its only a tube mid way between front and rear wheels - easily visible.
I know, the RAC guys are a god send sometimes, so must not complain
