Horn problems, again!

Gent,

I am seeking advice once more.............

My horn has been playing up since getting my 70 S30 and had 2 pros looking at the issue and thought the last one had finally got it working but after a couple of weeks I seem to be back to where I started with a ticking coming on when horn is pressed but no sound.

I have looked at any visual clues but got no wiser so guessing at the moment but hoping someone has faced similar problems before and found a permanent solution????

If you hear a click under the dashboard when the horn is pushed, then the contacts are good on the column and the relay is working.
This would leave you with the wiring from relay to horns and the horns themselves. I would suspect the latter. They are in an exposed position and the internal vibrating parts are easily corroded.
Try applying direct voltage to each horn to check response. They may respond to WD40 (other brands available) being sprayed into them. If not, replace the horns.
