I'm buying a 240z from california through California connections in Ashbourne, Derby. It'll be arriving in England in early may, and as I know very little about the cars at this point, I'm wondering are there any members in the Derby area who would consider themselves relatively knowledgable and would have a look at the car with me when it arrives, so I can make sure I'm buying well (I've paid a refundable deposit).  I'd be happy to pay someone for the trouble.

Hi there I would be willing to look it over for you just to make sure you don't buy a rot box, I have also seen the adverts for same company and thought the prices look ok.The only trouble is I live on the south coast, but will still look it over for you if no one nearer will, us Zed folk have to look out for each other you know. I live about 10miles from the California Cowboys farm. (Oops I mean California Connection&#33<img src="http://www.zclub.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> I have been there before. I also own a 71 Californian 240Z(not purchased from them).So I should know a little bit about the subject.Why dont we talk privately? &nbsp;My normal fees are usually calculated in bottles of San Miguel. &nbsp;Peter Mac
