Got the prop sorted!

Took it to a local firm on friday and picked it up today!
Had to re-tube it tho' cos' the supra is smaller diameter:santa:

Looks like a nice job mate, hope the center bearing holds together, mine didn't. with the rear end of the box in a silghtly different location the angle for the bearing wasnt what nissan intended and resulted in it ripping it apart. It maybe worth a look at the angles against a stock one before you give it some up the road.
I sh## myself when the front end of the prop was banging on the floor at 70 mph.

THANKS!-I'm shi**ing meself now!:unsure: -I did enquire about making it one piece
but the guys said to leave the bearing in?!-hope they know best then eh'!
 
Hi mate thats what they told me:) .
in the end i had a one pice item made, my gearbox maybe a lot shorter that yours but it did scare the sh## out of me when it let go. I have broke props before and i was expecting to be upside down in a field, i had my foot to the floor at over 7000rpm just pulling into 3rd when Bang bang bang bang. i was lucky it didn't break. when i checked the alignment afterwards it was obvious it was straining the rubber that holds it all together the torque these SBC make isnt really the same as the nissan motor and with the missalignment error it could be a problem. its worth a look to check :eek: .
