Fuel Tank

I'm a complete newbie to the Z, and I've got a split hose that leads into the rear of the fuel tank, is it as simple as it looks to drop the tank?.

In theory a simple job - two J-bolts with flange nuts hold the two straps in place and the filler tube is secured with a big Jubilee clip. What will screw the job up is rusted bolts, rusted straps and rusty tank.
J-bolts and nuts obtainable new, straps can be remade with strips of new metal, tanks unobtainable, filler neck expensive.
