I rebuilt my top and bottom passenger door hinges (both sides shagged, just not gotten to round to doing driver's side yet) a few weeks back following this:
Z Tech Tips Ball and Socket Compression Rod (AtlanticZ.ca)
Not the most enjoyable of jobs but it did work perfectly. The door used to sag a good inch when you opened it; no movement at all now. Pack of five bushes and two pins was about £33 direct from Nissan if I remember correctly.
