Popped into 4ways yesterday, and saw a very tin coloured 260z 2+2, ok it had a little red paint on it too, the underside had been shotblasted to katmandu and back, by the owner, and sadly the hot weather, as it does makes workshops sweat, a well known phenomenon as you all know, I was shocked to see the amount of rust taking hold on this cars underside, and entire engine bay.

Life is such a bitch sometimes.

Ooopps, It was a joke Paul, its the first time ive seen your motor, and it looks exactly how i wished mine could have looked pre-paint job.

cancelled the hit squad, and the testicle removal with mole grips......:D but it is gonna be redone before its painted to ensure no damp or rust what so ever!:D
 
Paul, there aint no damp or rust, Your car is the cleanest bit of kit ive ever seen, thats why i had to make a joke about it. I couldnt believe how well youve blasted it, there aint any paint or underseal in any crack or crevice. Im all envious Paul, trust me.
I think those paint guys are gonna have to give it some spesh treatment, cos its like a factory shine under there.

hard to say but it wont be this year i'm affraid by the looks of things, all brakes/suspension virtually done, samuri motor needs checking out/painting , diff the same plus new seals etc... then inside needs doing....leather trimmer needs to quote me...gulp!

the only thing i will say is if it aint fast as f*ck its gonna get a v8!

this may be the reason why i'm paying soooo much attention to the chassis!;)
 
Look Peter, I aint upsetting Grollsy no more, as far as im concerned if he had a reliant robin pick up in pink and white, it'll be cool, okay.
