I like the amber colour of the Z31 dash lights and the red of the 280ZX, but didn't like the dull lighting of my Z32, although the "indiglo" dial kit available for Z32s looks good.

Don't know about the dashes, but take a look at my interior neons! Consists of one on each side in the footwells and three spotlights pointing at dash. Sorry but had to have it done. ps. hope attachment works!

Cheerz,

Hi Jez - If you're talking about the indiglo's on 300zx.co.uk Group-Buy there are still four sets up for grabs. We've ordered the sets and they are scheduled for delivery in six weeks. At £61 a set of seven dials (for N/A AND TT) they are a real steal.

Hope your still enjoying my 'old' Zed.

Cheers - Dave

I voted blue, but it's really down to the colour of the interior and paint I think.

Hi,
Dave I think this poll predates your group buy by about 3 years!:D
Now I've another Z32 I think blue lighting would be nicer than the stock white, but indiglos may be tricky to fit?...Good luck with the group buy though!

Been driving your old Z32 every week, if I can....Have replaced the gaiters and re-trimmed the centre armrest and rear boot cover frame using vinyl. Also replaced the front alloys and am now looking for a stock rear spoiler.
Trying not to spend any money at the moment, but may do a few things on the ZX over the winter!

Kitt was never a soft top! That's so wrong.

Interesting looking dash conversion though!!

i've got the indeglow kit on my zed 32 at the moment though i've gone off it recently so will be ripping them off, close inspection just showed up how actually poor they are. i am however part way through my winter build schedule which includes making my own reverse el glow dials using electro luminescent sheeting ,acitate sheeting and templates. they will read 10,20,30,40,50,60,70, 3 points, 6 points, 9 points, prison. and will be placed in the new dash build pictured below! as far as it goes i'd say make your own el dials, their are like 20 colours to choose from and all the stuff you need comes to £22. i'll let you know how easy they are to make when i finish them, probably sunday when i've got time off. in the mean time what do you reckon on the new dash format?

I N C R E D I B L E. VERY COOL.

How are you doing that, made from fiber glass? Can you show us more pics of the procedure? Got a long way to go before it's done? And are you putting a PC in it to run the large monitor? KEEP UP WITH THE PROGRESS

jimjitsu has kinda been the driving force behind my remodel, his interior is mint modded, just suttle changes that make it look great so i thought i'd go the whole hog and re make what is a decent enterior anyway. the pics are of the pre fibre glass plug so is currently all fibreglass and filled but this is just the reverse mold, template if you like! the final product will be fibreglass wrapped in black and red leather to match the new colour scheme. so far its eaten 20hours of my life but i expect it to be in the hundreds by the time i perfect it!

their is now a slot on the top from which the kenwood motorized touch screen sterio pops out from when you turn the ignition on. the screen is one of five but runs from the carputer that we are making and will run, conzult, sat nav and graphic equilizer.. plus if we can get it working right will stream live feed from the cameras i've installed so when we're all at the pod i can see on the screen what my camcorder in the stands see, this is only because i hate the walk to get my timing slips!! lol. thanks for liking it i suppose. and i will ofcourse keep you up to date with pics etc as i progress.

today is hopfully finishing the command plat and prepping for plug molding.

update soooooooooon ish
