Chrome decal (auto) Wanted

Can anyone tell me where I can get a stylised chrome decal reading "Auto". to go on the back of my 240.
Ive just given away all my collection of classic car mags, and I know a few companies advertise in the mags, doing badges and decals.
Cant find any on searching the net, just a load of vinyl decal companies.

Can anyone help, I'll be your bestist mate.

There is an official Nissan emblem with "Nissan" and "Matic" either side of a block that says "Full Auto". My USA sources are suggesting it may no longer be available, but I can enquire for you....?

I have a drawing of an earlier version which reads "Full Automatic" in script on an oblong base, but I can't find this one offered anywhere - I think it had been superceded by the end of the 240Z reign.

Pity it dont say Datsun though.

I have been tapping in everything from decal/badge/emblem/auto, you sodding name it, but didnt tap in automatic.

if anything datsun automatic would have probably been black plastic backing with raised chrome lettering....eeeeewwwww yuck @ austin princess badge!

You can actually buy individual chrome lettering so you don't have to use badges from other cars.

You could make one up that says "POWER STEERING" too ;) ;)
 
Don mate, I have found exactly what it should come with, and it will please Grolls and Mr. F...

Here it is No. 6! It reads "NISSAN - FULL AUTO - MATIC"

You can try and order it from this company called Japan Datsun Service Corp.. Web site http://www.zzzing.net/jds_chubu/

Just find a Jap speaker to ring and order for you.

Falling that, just get Mr. F on the case, he always comes up with the goods.

Mr F, No I guess I had better not, But tell me Mike, If I put the very nice looking No;6 on there, will it look right, I mean with the Nissan logo and not Datsun? I will take your lead on this, did datsun use the nissan name in "72", and if so did you say you can me one.

Very amusing zedhead, Mmm power steering logo, what dya take me for. I wouldnt dream of putting one of them on my Z, not until Ive finished my training on the bullworker anyway.

The "Nissan-Matic" emblem is correct for 70 - 78, but availability is not certain. I'll enquire with my suppliers for you.
