This Saturday the 1st Oct Kevin Bristow, of Historic Rally fame, is giving up his time, effort and car to help out the Stroke Association.

There is a charity event at Castle Combe, which gives members of the public an opportunity to ride in a variety of historic rally and performance cars in exchange for a donation to the Stroke Association. Apart from Kevin in his 240Z there will be the likes of Simon Taylor in his Lister road car, Duncan Pittaway’s 1920 Maserati, Nick Faure’s Porsche as well as numerous Ferraris, Alfas, Caterham and the list goes on. There is also the chance to ride in some of the more modern racecars with their drivers.
You can take your own car round the track durning the lunch break

Kevin is putting his 240Z up and will cover the costs of wear and tear as well as all the fuel. He has been able to arrange sponsorship from Yokohama tyres but they are only selling him the tyres at half price so he needs to raise another £250 – can anyone help?
You will receive full credit for your sponsorship and you can plaster your or your companys’ name all over his car. He is not expecting anyone to cough up the whole amount and would be more than grateful to receive any donation large or small.
If anyone can help Kevin please get in touch with me ASAP
