I heard today from the "Car Nation" telly prog producer that apparently I was cut out at the last minute. I don't know why. Maybe BBC cuts have meant they've had to shorten the programme. Maybe I'm just too nice and didn't say anything controversial. Maybe my Wife didn't slag off my Z enough for them. Who knows?

I suppose it has all turned out to be a bit of a waste of time, but it was interesting to see how the filming was done. Sorry to anyone who thought they had some BBC fame coming along! There will be a VHS of me/my car/SEZ available so I believe, so at least there'll be a memento for me in my dotage.

Actually, my Wife is pretty relieved as she hadn't really wanted to be involved (she agreed under protest). I'm kinda bemused, and my eldest daughter (9) is heartbroken as I think she saw this as the gateway to fame and had told all her friends she was going to be on TV. Tough break kiddo.

But, at least I can take my "media whore" badge off now...

Don't worry about it,you've achieved a great deal already(Clarkson,Retro &
other thing's) Tell the producer to forward any expenses due in the time wasted
(by broadcasting law's you are entitled.)There will be more exposure in in the
future & I reckon it's their loss!
Let the Media come to you,Me & Status Check our diarie's 1st then
give them a big run around,& demand luxeries in our V.I.P dressing room's.
Plus,send Status's minder to the BBC & break their cheap Chinese camera's..................Supportive Mate............DJZ 60.:rolleyes:

What a bummer Tony, all that posing and pronouncing our H's at the SEZ, all your time and energy at home and the like, and your poor daughter little dream dashed, bless her heart. My little lady (11yrs) and my little fella (8yrs) would be the same. Its difficult to explain int it.
Still, a big WELL DONE Tony. Love to see an editted version of the vid SEZ Bits) some day, hope they at least give you that.
