The following list is a record of the "Best Z" awards that have been made by the Z Club to their members and have been compiled from articles printed in the clubs magazines. These awards were originally made to the owners of the winning Z at National meetings and were chosen usually by a person that was not a member of the club but was associated with the place where the meeting was held. The guidelines usually given to the person doing the judging was to pick the car that "they would like to take home with them" as opposed to picking the most pristine looking Z. The cars that won "Best Z" awards between 1978 and1983 is currently being researched as copies of the magazine are not available at present and the archive is being searched for records of winning cars from the 1995 &1996 Japanese Auto Extravaganza If any member has any information about some of the missing section of this list please contact Steve Burns.
