Well, he has been and gone, spent two days on my z, and had the bloody console and wiring apart. The mans a genius. cost me £240.00, he fixed and added the following.
New Lights and relay. (What a difference)
Wired up my electrical ariel to the stereo
Wired up my interior light (so cool, it works)
Wired up my heated rear window (crap! it dont work, broken membrane)
Wired up my seatbelt warning light (very cool)
Wired up my Choke on light (also very cool)
Fitted and wired up my super fandango "la cucharacha" horns (fab 70s)
Re-wired my entire fusebox (shit job in the first place)
Fixed my engine bay courtesy light.
sorted out the sender problem on my petrol tank.
All in all a lot of work involved here.
This guy, also done a lot of work on my humber hawk a few years back. he is Kent based, and knows classic electrics like the back of his hand. Very reasonable too I think. let me know if you would like his number.
