Anyone good at setting up nitrous

Hope to be picking my nitrous kit up today any of you guys local to me know anything about setting it up would love to hear from you there will be lots of tea and pos dinner if you wanna help:)
 
Oooh sounds interesting, I was thinking about making my own kit as it's cheap to do that way.

BTW I read that on Pi marked bottles are any good for nitrous now, as the DOT marked (I think that's right) American standard bottles are difficult to have filled in this country, don't know if that affects you?

Thats correct Russ I'm just doing another bottle conversion as we speak american spec Dot bottles are not supposed to be filled here in the UK. I have bottles retested to 200Ilb co2 pressures which is way over what NOs will ever get to. Russ if you need a had with your 240z set up just give me a call,
Jimijitsu they are quite easy to install but don't rush it and start with low bhp figures and work up from there, it's a hell of a rush!!!
 
I cant wait its a wizards of nos kit so should be no problem with the bottle fingers crossed zed2k is it ok to pick your brains if I need to cheers bud;)

Make sure your autobox is able to withstand the extra power!....You don't want to break it!

Thanks for offer. www.nitrous.info is what I've been reading as well. I am going to try and price up how much it'll cost to add a 50 shot to my Omega ;) Then I can transfer the install to the Z in the future if I want.
 
Jimijitsu no problems good luck with the install, wizards of nos are the best so your bottle will be fine, have you gone for a 11Ilb size as it goes really quick when you start having fun!!
 
I understand that there are places that will fill a DOT-marked bottle, but it's all rather "unofficial" <cough> <cough>

I was told to invest in a progressive timer too, so that the hit doesn't come in all at once.

Oh I wish I had injection at moments like this!
 
So what kind of 1/4 mile time will I get with this baby strapped in my zed:devil:

Kinda depends on how good you are -- a 13 second car in the hands of a 15 second driver will only run 15 seconds
 
ok most of its in im a little worried about turning it on just need to put the injectors in and where done looking for reassurance here from a nitrous veteran:)
