I think I've seen this done before but don't know antone who's done it. As they say, anythings possible. As I found out though, information about 1jz/2jz swap is not very well documented or just incorrect. I asume your car is LHD. I'd be looking at the basics first like: distance between strutt towers, hieight from crossmember to underside of bonnett, clearence around stearing, ect. We know it can be done relatively easy in a S30 so I'd be looking at the engine bay differences between 240's and 280zx's. If it fits in the engine bay then your next biggest problem will be the wiring. Info on the internet is pretty **** for a 1jz and I've no idea about the 2j.
