240z 260z fuel tank ?

From the S30 fiche (see attachments) it would appear that there are four fuel tank assemblies, one up to 07/73 (fiche 14-1) and the subsequent unit from 07/73 to 08/74 (fiche 14-1). The scan of fiche 14A-1 (from 09/74) shows the two additional assemblies, the first from 09/74 to 08/74 (which is clearly an error and I suspect should read "to 07/75") and the superseded unit from 08/75 on. The tank on ebay would appear to be from a late model 260Z (provided it is a tank from a UK car).

Does look like a later tank by that :)

900ss,

I was intending to give a more comprehensive response, but had to take my son to his swimming class this morning, which meant I was in a bit of a rush. I have had a look under my car now (a 1977 built, late model S30 two seater) and the bottom of the fuel tank is identical to the one on ebay. As for the top of the tank, I have attached a photograph of, what I think, is a late model (UK) 260Z unit, which again appears identical to the one on ebay. Hope that helps, but I am sure someone with more knowledge than me, with respect to these cars, will confirm this.

Many thanks
From what I could see of mine whilst under it today it does look the same

Maybe an easier option would be to get mine welded?
I can't weld but I'm sure I can find a man that can :)

If you are intending to restore your existing fuel tank, there are a couple of good articles on the US Classic Z Car Club website, for example:
