Does anyone know where i can get some technical info on the 1uzfe transplant into a 240, I've checked lextreme forum and hybribz but there doesn't seem to be any info on which motor to chose(front or rear sump) and the drivetrain setup, engine mounts etc.

I've registered on hybridz forum but it won't let me post, any help would be great.

Interesting choice to go with the Lexus motor, What made you decide on that (just curious)?

Pretty rare conversion as far as I'm aware. Looking for a challenge?

I'd probably try the Austrialian forums as well as the US to see if you can find any information on it. I did hear that it fits somewhat third hand but am still very dubious until I can see a picture of one in an S30 engine bay!

I have 2 S30's and a 2004 Sequoia and after a few measurements Im pretty confident the engine would be no problem. The transmission and tunnel will require more measurements. Once I get the Sequoia on the lift I will let you know what they are if needed.

What transmission were you thinking of? Is there even a manual option for that motor?

Maybe have a word with Tony427 as he seems pretty clued up on the engine. You'd be wanting a rear sump most likely but it would depend on the overall engine size as you might be able to fit the whole lot behind the cross member - check first though, the gospel according to Rob does not necessarily come with a gold plated guaranteed
