As I was going along one of the main roads through Crewe this morning, a police car was parked behind a Z32. There were 2 policeman but no apparent driver, I have seen the car around a few times, just hope it wasn't taken for a joyride.

Hi folks, push rod appears to be operating normally on the slave cylinder, tried starting the engine while in gear with no clutch and it turned over as if the clutch pedal was down. :conf2:

Hi Mike, There are no unusual noises and the clutch pedal feels normal. The last time I actually drove it, there were no indications that anything was amiss but that was about 6 months ago.

Can anyone advise me, went to start my 260 this morning, haven't started her for a while, started well but when I went to move nothing happened, able to release clutch while gear engaged. Can anyone shed any light on the probable cause. Many thanks

Many thanks Jez, that's why I was worried because of the oil sitting in the sump and not having lubricated the engine for so long. Will try on Friday & keep my fingers crossed ! :)

My Z has been stood for several months without being turned over. Now this might sound like a stupid question but is it safe to just try and start it or is there anything I should do first ? :conf2:

Agree with the stealth tax Nigel, I have wondered how they will fund the NHS without cigarette tax. I have smoked for many years, I would prefer not to but nobody is going to force me.
