I think so. I haven't read that thread in detail for a while but it's the case of being very Honda. Find the parts and just 'bolt on'. My understanding is that no cutting/welding is required. I would spend some money getting the camber plates though... Where are you getting yours from?

The 350 gearbox is apparently now a possible box to use when mated with a Rb and also the 1JZ/2JZ. I've seen conversions for both. That was a google search and ironically, it's GTR thread asking about how to mate it to a RB. GTR thread I'm not sure about how it would actually fit into the...

That really sucks but glad he's alive to tell the tale! Vehicles are at a very high risk of being hit on the hard shoulder. So as soon as you've parked, get away quick. My brother in law used to be a highways engineer in his early 20's and the amount of cars that got hit on the hard shoulder...
