Im new and i have ?'s

Thanks for that. Ordered the single piece prop as it's a lot less hassle in the long run. Hopefully it will arrive before Christmas so I can do it over the holidays. Been using it the last few days as my Scooby has disgraced itself AGAIN! I'm quite taken with it myself. Come the summer, there...

Im new and i have ?'s

Had a look at z1 site. How much did it all come to imported from the states Eileen? Also tempted to get the gearbox mount just incase. I know it will be dearer than you paid cause the pound is now worth nothing but would give me an idea. Need to do something with it soon or it'll end up being...

Im new and i have ?'s

Thanks for the advice Eileen. Getting really pissed off with the Z as it has sat outside for 7 weeks un-used. It was bought for my wife as she liked the look of them but this particular car has put her off. Don't get me wrong, it looks great, runs like a dream, handles like a Ferrari and has a...

Im new and i have ?'s

Has anyone dealt with a company called Jonnyz? They're selling a one piece propshaft design which does away with the centre bearing and weighs half the OEM item. £200 plus a tenner to post. Seems quite cheap for a brand new shaft, if it actually works.

    no hot air!!!

Escort problem with intermittent heater is usually the switch. Very common on mark 5/6. Switches are crap quality. Same switch is fitted to virtually all Fords of this period. Try one from the scrappy, you may get lucky. Pretty certain the Z32 matrix will need a flush before I change the...

    no hot air!!!

How did this one pan out? Got a similar problem with the wife's Z32. Seems to take forever to get the car up to running temperature (how long do they take to heat up, this one goes about 7 miles before getting temperature in it?). The heater is also stone cold until engine gets to temp but even...

Looks more of a job for Farecla. I wish you were closer as that's got real potential. Geography can be a bitch at times.

    370Z seen in the metal

That's got to be the ugliest door handle ever put on a car. Looks like it fell off a Cybermans leg plate. Wheels are a bit fugly too (like a TSW Stealth's illegitimate love-child). Otherwise it'a a real show stopper. Lots of little touches nicked from other cars (indents in the roof are pure...

Z32 2+2... those rear seat things...

Belts bought (thanks pmac) and fitted. Very easy job. Rear interior panels even have a moulding mark on the inside where you have to drill for the upper mounts. I put some masking tape over this mark, centred the bolt, drew round it and drilled to just over the line. Only awkward bits are...

Is this the 240Z is saw running around Hamilton/Earnock a few years back? What happened to it? If yes, it's partly responsible for the 300 presently on our driveway.

Im new and i have ?'s

The wife bought a Z32 LWB on Saturday and as soon as I picked up speed in it, there was a loud droning noise and a pronounced vibration through the shell. Noise doesn't increase or decrease when cornering, so not wheel bearings. Wheels could probably do with a decent dynamic balancing but don't...
