I am in the process of deciding what to do with my stock 280z exhaust system and wondered if anyone here had any experience or advice. My plan is to build a stainless steel system 2.5 inch piping with a small muffler in the centre and a helmholtz resonator at the back just like the motordyne system for the 350z.
I had a motordyne on my 350z and it sounded amazing. This system did not have any droning sound at all and simply sounded great under acceleration. Has anyone used a helmholtz resonator on there s30 and if not what exhausts do you guys use which sound good but do not drone?
I plan on getting rid of the fuel injection system soon and adding triple Weber carbs to it.
