And now for the bad news. The old owner ommited to tell me that the speedo reads about 10mph too high. Within 15 minutes of picking the car up, I had been flashed by a speed camera going through roadworks on the M62. 50mph limit, 50 mph on the clock. Flash! Then another flash. Ah..that'll be the missus who was following me after taking me off to pick up the car. When my phone lit up with "The Dragon" I knew I was in it.
Does the club have a fund to help out people in my situation? Are tax-exempt vehicles also speeed-limit exempt?
