Theres a job ive been meaning to do but ive been putting it off.
The passangers side rear suspension strut is knocking / rattling around at the top on my 260z. You can hear it when going down bumpy roads and over speed bumps etc. The noise is deffinately coming from inside the turret...
No Struts are fitted to it at the minute. Not sure how many it originally had. The slam panel was replaced not so long ago. I found this original picture in my archive when I first got the car and it looks as though its sitting high there as well to me.....
Cheers guys - Ive been trying to brake open the Servo this morning - turns out its pritty well rusted together - im in the process of getting a replacement - will prob replace the master cylinder at the same time just to be sure!!!

Hi Nigel - I think I know what your on about - I read about that in my service manual - something called a reaction disc? Would it be as simple as taking the servo apart and just popping the disc back on perhaps......

Ok - When I connect the vacuum from the manifold to the brake servo, the pedal travels almost straight to the floor under the slightest of foot pressure. With the Vacuum to the servo disconected or with the engine off - the pedal goes firm again. The brakes work with the servo "disconnected"...
