    Possibly a bit late in the day, have you had a look at "motordriveseats" in Manchester? excellent fitting service, (your size into the seat, not the seat into the car) and prices. 0161 724 5176. They will also embroider logo's etc into the seat fabric.

    Fuel Gauge ?

    I've removed mine by taking out the glove box liner, then reaching behind the clock to remove the 2 screws/bolts/nuts, sorry can't remember which, that hold the clock in place, also don't forget to remove the bulb and wire. simple but you need small hands. (disconect battery first!)

    For what it's worth, I run a Centreforce 240 clutch, 225/50/15 yokohamas, 4.375:1 plated LSD from Lawrence Evans, set quite tight, L24 overbored to approx 2569cc., standard gearbox, albeit rebuilt ,again by Lawrence Evans. Problem on the 1/4 mile is not from clutch slip but from lack of tyre...

    Hi Rob " Is it more effective at fuel cooling than what Phil H already has?" Without measuring fuel temp' I really don't know. However, running 1/4 mile's on warm days has presented no problems whatsoever(low 14's L24 block) possibly due to the distance from the radiant heat source? possibly...
