Even worse!....we used to tow a little speedboat. Aaaagh.. a towbar. Look at the sign written spoiler....is there any doubt this is the "Sad Samuri"

Later on the Great Orme, Llandudno. Circa 1980. Now showing silly spoiler & Sunroof which i had fitted. 793CHR clearly visible.

Now 793CHR....no silly spoiler or sunroof yet. You can see the white seats albeit with sheepskin covers.

How did JPF127K become EOE644K. Well in those days if you placed a personal plate on a vehicle. In this case 793CHR. When you took your personal plate off, the car was issued with a fresh plate.....not put back to its first registration number as they do today.

I put my plate 793CHR on the car & later fitted the tea tray spoiler, lift out sunroof, after the hottest Summer for 350 years in 1976, & even a towbar to take a little Fletcher to Abersoch. I had no handbooks, service books....nothing with the car & sold it with 70,000+ miles. Talk of History...

Well thats strange. I owned the car from 1976/77 to 2001. I had an RS3100 Capri at the time & advertised it in Motoring News or Exchange & Mart as thats about all their was. A chap among others phoned & asked if i would be interested in a swap. He told me he had a Samuri. I jumped at the swap...

Second thought could have been Ford Tawny Bronze. Bronze or Brown. One or the other....Definitly 100% Ford Tawny .......

One more thing. My Car showing 793CHR which im 99.9% sure is the "Sad Samuri" EOE644K had from the Factory when new a Special Order WHITE interior.ie White door cards & white seats. You can see them in the pics ive posted (more pics to follow). Looks like they were replaced after i sold her...

Ford Tawny Brown was the correct colour.

Actually, on second look, your Car YES27L is a bit better pic than i thought.....Rear three quarter view....reg plate easily readable. Hope it helps you. Oh, by the way. The fit looking girl, looking in through the passenger window, doesnt look like that anymore either.....should have never...
