I’ve got both on my car. I think having an electric fan in front of the rad does restrict natural flow and can get a little hot when Idling in traffic on a hot day with just the viscous working. I have the electric fan wired to a toggle on/ off switch hidden under the dash and can turn it on...
Interesting position of your pump. I thought the facet pumps were pusher pumps rather than puller pumps. I have the exact same pump but mines positioned up next to the tank pushing fuel down the fuel rail to a pressure regulator in the engine bay.
Try disconnecting fuel line near the carbs and then turn ignition on to check fuel flow. Make sure you have a container to catch the fuel.
it could also be some crud getting trapped in the float valve of the float bowl restricting flow into the float chamber causing fuel starvation after a...
I didn’t realise it was a separate compartment. I have this rad and jubilee clipped a rubber hose to the two threaded stubs as I thought the water would come out! I couldn’t find a blanking nut as they were a tapered thread and emailing mishimoto didn’t get a response. I will take the hose off now!
Take the dizzy cap off and u can see whether there are points or not. As it’s a later engine it will most likely have an electronic dizzy with no points. There are other threads on here on how to reconnect the wiring to get your tach working, that’s if you still have all the original wiring in...
I’ve had that exact problem too. In the end I bought a small set of nut removal sockets which effectively cuts into the nut or bolt head. The square bung by this point was no where near square so felt it might work. Which it did. The bung was throw away afterwards but mike at mjp had some in...
Great morning to all that made it.
I think I counted something like 14 z’s and a couple of zx’s.
Nice to put a face to a name with woodie, Harvey, and a really smart dressed Ali! Hope u all got back ok esp Ali with his fuelling issues. Mine ran good given the fueling probs I’ve experienced...
