Well it's proper sprinting :) But yes for the drivers this series is very important hence so many great cars. I reckon it's on a par with time attack with the quality of the entries and a good test you'd enjoy it mate.

Drag slicks should improve the 60 foot times with the power you have you've just got to get used to them and that takes a bit of doing. Being honest the track was pretty poor and unpredictable nowhere near as good as I've seen it. Personally I'd stick with the slicks with a decent bit of heat...

That's a shame me and the missus decided to call it a day after 2 runs saw you parked up when we drove out. I'm interested too I wonder if those slicks got the 10 second runs :)

Good talking to you guys and didn't we all do well :) I am back there for Flame and Thunder got into the 'quickshift challenge' final. The other three are quicker than me but you can never count anyone out in the quarter : ) and got my 10.92 recorded for posterity in the Japshow video!

I enjoyed the weekend and it was great to see all the zeds particularly the 240 which is still the best looking zed ever (IMO of course). I actually managed a 11.9 on my final run of the day so was pretty happy with that as my tyres were pretty shot. I did an 11.9 on the Saturday too both...

I loved group b and it's clear the drivers did too. I think they were pretty effective as an ex group b quattro sport was winning the Pikes Hill Climb for years against all comers IIRC.
