well i managed to get some 215/40/17s for the front an is given enough clearance that i could go an inch lower! always good haha
catching slightly on the rear under heavy acceleration so might get some smaller tyres or pull the arch a bit more.
really need a splitter now though...
so spent all yesterday sorting out tyres and playing with the ride height. its still not perfect but it looks damn good in my opinion. think i need a lower profile tyre on the front.
heres some pics of how far i got before i trapped my fingers between the front tyre and arch.
going to pick...
after i sorted the top mounts out an figured how to dial the camber in i got the car set up and on its wheels.
heres some pics
well i need to roll the arches now as there is tyre tread up an down the street!
woops lol
i also now need a low jack as non of mine now fit under it!
So decided to take a trip down to gaz on my day off with sascha to drop the struts off for the coilover conversion.
Decided on a 7" inch chop over the usual 1". Was just met with lots of laughter then when they realised we were serious one of the engineers said ok that can be done just don't...
got a few goodies at the weekend
a nice manual conversion was a 350 mile round trip to pick it up so lets hope its worth it as i hate the auto, its soooo lazy!
also got the struts off ready to send to gaz for some coilovers :)
hopefully have it sat on the RB-Xs in a few weeks, sooooo...
