I have always loved them,

I saw it for sale and it looked pretty rough from what I remember . Interested what it was actually like .
They’re cheap for engine buts but the 5 speed zf boxes aren’t. A lot of swaps available though…
Believe it or not this is me about 50 years ago (1974?). Not my car but it's on our drive.
Remember 'slides' guys? I need to get all my slides transfered onto a digital format
Yes my friend imported it , So I had a good look over it , a few times . needed work and some panels making, engine rebuilding (but had the wrong heads), interior retrimming etc etc but it was cheap for a Pantera , but at the moment I couldn't spare the cash and the 12k plus missing gearbox swayed the final decision really
its now in Amazing Autos being 'restored' but the less I say about them the better really......
I was surprised how much the part's were for my Cleveland ,a lot cheaper compared to the L series but a bigger market I suppose, I have got a Audi 01E box I could of used but it was never gonna be worth good money without a ZF really
I do know for another one for sale though that I'm going look at after I sort out all this inheritance tax stuff
Great pic Rob - is there a story behind the car ?Believe it or not this is me about 50 years ago (1974?). Not my car but it's on our drive.

We’d have the neighbours round in the early 70s for Snowballs and Twiglets (the height of sophistication, dontchaknow) and my dad would set up the screen, get the projector out and entertain us all with the holiday slides from the previous summer. I’ve still got them somewhere … boxes and boxes of ‘em.
What’s a slide Rob ?Believe it or not this is me about 50 years ago (1974?). Not my car but it's on our drive.
