There is a Japanese New Channel (NHK World) on Freesat, a bit like BBC World, where they show English language programs all about Japan as well as their News.
One of the programmes is called 'samuri Wheels' which is a motoring show, featuring the latest in Japanese car tech and fashion. The episode the other day featured the Tokyo motor show and may be of interest, the tech is amazing!
